Colour Specialist DES Launches in NZ

DES are taking the leap across the Tasman and look forward to providing new markets with the cost effective, innovative solutions that have gained DES their solid reputation in Australia.
“As the largest independent player in the Australian market, it was a logical step to New Zealand to meet customer demand for Tran Tasman operations.” Commented DES Managing Director Ian Clare.
Based in Devonport, Auckland, industry figure Derk Schoemaker has been appointed Business Development Manager of DES New Zealand. "DES has a complete product line up for inkjet media and I'm looking forward to getting that out there to New Zealand," said Schoemaker, “The resources behind DES for proofing & colour management are second to none, New Zealand will reap the benefits of years of experience and technical skills that DES has built.”
Still in its early days, Schoemaker believes that being a global village will ensure the success of the new expansion. "It's hard to know what to expect but I think the consumable section will go very well," he said.
DES will focus on creating reliable partnerships with customers, creating solutions tailored to individual needs and delivering full service, support and training. Delivering leading products from the likes of EFI, CGS, X-Rite, Epson, Canon, Eizo and Quato, New Zealand can look forward to a local service of International brands.
