Innova Art and Chromajet release unique double sided premium inkjet media.
Promoting their reputation for being innovative market leaders, Innova Art have developed a specialist range of fine art papers designed especially for Book-art, portfolio and album construction. The materials are available in single side coated (C1S) and double side coated (C2S) to meet a wide range of applications.
Enhancing the professional photographic range, DES are also now offering a dual sided photographic media from their premium inkjet brand Chromajet. The Chromajet Centurion Silk, popular for its super white smooth finish and 90 year archival rating, is also now available with a C2S inkjet finish.
The double sided series has been developed in conjunction with artists, photographers, bookart professionals and university professors. “Book-art users have very specific requirements that have not been addressed by other digital fine art paper makers. In addition to excellent image quality, the C2S Series has a robust, scuff resistant coating and is produced with specific paper grain direction that is noted on the packaging,” stated Innova’s Wayne Connelly.
Chromajet and Innova inkjet coatings are scuff resistant and provide excellent image quality and color gamut. All materials are archive grade. Ian Clare of DES commented, “These products are unique in the marketplace- carrying all the premium features of our existing range with an innovative new twist, C2S are destined to make a huge impact with professional photographers.”
“The concept of the C2S series is to solve the problem of how to present a series of images without the expense of traditional albums and the headache of mounting prints on album pages with tape and glue. The pages are printed with your inkjet printer and mounted directly into the album cover,” said Wayne Connelly of Innova Art Papers.
